Flower Stories - Day Lily

One of my favorite things about being a gardener is that fact that I get to share my plant wealth with others and they are so inclined to share with me when they have extra plants in their landscape!

This fine day lily plant was originally a gift from my neighbor when I resided in VA. He has long since moved to FL but it was so nice of him to share this plant with me before he left. It came from his mother's garden.

When I left VA I took part of the plant with me and gave it to my mother for her TN yard. Lovely, right?!
